Action Research Paper is finished! Well, ok, it is getting edited right now, so
I might have a little work left. But for
the most part, it is done- even the appendix and page numbers are in
place! I must admit, I wasn’t sure if
this day would actually come. That was
back in August, and surprisingly, this year has flown by.
About a
week ago, I submitted my DSIL. This was
quite possibly more difficult for me than my research paper! It was definitely a struggle to meet all of
the technology requirements. And while
frustrating, I was very happy with my finished product. I actually wanted to show it off to some
colleagues, which would normally not be the case.
Of course,
now that things are calming down with my Master’s, the students I work with have
Spring Fever, though I can’t say I blame them.
We just finished up TCAP last week.
This throws off the schedule for everyone, and the test is tough for the
kids. The students in my oral
presentation group worked really hard, I was really impressed with their
effort.
On
the home stretch now, with my Master’s and the 11/12 school year. It has been a lot of work, but I can’t
complain. I love my job, and I have
acquired many new skills through Western’s program- it’s a win-win!
